Initially, my youngster and I kept mashing our potato when landing in the mashing station. However, we soon realized that we should wait for another play to get to the mashed station before we get mashed. Children love mashing the potatoes, making chips or chopping up the potatoes. It is a delightful, non-violent game.

I find that children play this game for a long stretch without getting bored. Once a game piece is smashed, you get to start again. It is a lot of fun getting a chance to demolish the opponent’s play dough character.
